Screaming In An Empty Room

Does it feel as if you are screaming in an empty room when the news does not cover important reports or twist facts into spin? So do I. I'm not anti-military but I am against all that is being done to the men and women who joined the military to defend this nation. For PTSD post, go to http://woundedtimes.blogspot.com.

NEW VIDEO ON PTSD

With the figure of veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan already topping 70,000 diagnosed cases, there is no better time than now to unite behind our veterans. This is a new piece I did in an attept to explain PTSD, how it changes the veterans and their families. It also address how so many of them end up homeless. Hope you like it but I hope it helps more. Pass it on at will.

    Hi Kathie,

Just wanted to say thanks for creating this PTSD video; Jim Staro passed it along to me, and I just had a chance to watch it all the way through this evening. What a labor of love...great work. THANK YOU. I've included a reference and link over to it at my blog PTSD Combat: Winning the War Within. I'm sure your work will bring education and comfort to those who are coping with PTSD.

I'm happy to join in on spreading the word on your great work. Cheers...

Thank you. Veterans have my heart and have for a very long time. Homeless Veterans have a hold of my soul. In them I see my husband.
Because of PTSD he almost became one of the homeless and forgotten.

When I think that it almost came to that, and I, with years of knowledge about PTSD reached that point, it made me angry. How hard it must be on the family members who don't know anything about PTSD to hold it together.

I started to do something about it in 1984. In over twenty years we have not come far enough. To have one military family out there not knowing what PTSD is, is beyond reason.

Thank you so much for helping to get the word out about this unseen battle wound.
